Fall Firefly Farm Experience
Experience Firefly Grove at one of the most abundant times of year.
Service Description
This private guided experience takes you through our 5-acre working farm estate, home to more than 700 avocado trees, 400 exotic fruit trees representing 70+ varieties, culinary gardens, honeybees, and a whole cast of friendly farm animals. Your visit begins with a fall-inspired herbal elixir and our signature avocado fudge before heading into the Grove with one of our farm guides. Wander through the avocado orchards and gardens, meet our Flemish Giant rabbits, mini horses, goats, quails, chickens, and honeybees, and discover what’s ripe, growing, and changing across the farm. Fall brings an especially fun harvest. Depending on the week, you may find: - Pumpkins - Apples - Pomegranates - Strawberry guava - Yellow guava - Barbados cherries - Surinam cherries - Ice cream bean - Sugar cane - Pink lemonade fruit - Hystrix lime - Chiles - Other seasonal surprises along the way. Each experience includes one seasonal U-Pick basket per group, which your guide will help you fill from what’s ready to harvest that day. Additional harvest baskets may be added for guests who want to take a little more of the Grove home. Along the way, you may also help with gentle animal feeding or farm chores, taste something straight from the garden, learn plant lore and regenerative growing practices, take a Mini Horse Meander, and pause for photos throughout the property. Because this is a working farm, no two visits are exactly the same. What you taste, harvest, and encounter changes with the season — which is part of the fun. GOOD TO KNOW Firefly Grove is a working farm, so specific fruits, vegetables, and harvest opportunities vary naturally throughout the season and cannot be guaranteed. Experiences take place outdoors. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes, and come prepared for dirt, uneven paths, plants, animals, bees, and seasonal weather.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION: Client may cancel or reschedule the reservation within 48 hours for a full refund. Less than 48 hours is non-refundable. Can’t make it but know someone who’d love it? Substitutions are always welcome at no cost. LATE ARRIVAL: Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened experience, and arrivals more than 30 minutes late may be considered a no-show. Late arrivals are not eligible for extensions or refunds. TRANSPORTATION & PARKING: Firefly Grove can accommodate a maximum of 20 cars, or 2 busses. All vehicles must be parked inside the property gates at all times. Larger groups should plan to arrive a few minutes early to get settled in. FINAL HEADCOUNT: If you are unsure of your final group headcount prior to booking, we recommend booking for the minimum number to lock in your date. Additional guests may be added on with 48 hours and billed separately. ATTIRE: Firefly Grove is an outdoor working farm. Close toed shoes are REQUIRED. Comfortable clothing, sun protection and layers are reccommended. Guests should be prepared for dirt, uneven ground, plants, animals, and changing weather. PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS: Pets are not allowed. If service animals will be present, you must notify us in advance. Our Livestock Guardian Dogs roam the property freely. Guests with severe allergies or phobias of dogs may not be well suited. ADULT SUPERVISION: For participants under 18, we require a minimum of 1 adult chaperone per 6 children. Chaparones are responsible for helping students follow farm safety guidelines throughout the visit. OUTSIDE FOOD & BEVERAGE: Outside food & beverage is permitted during your activity (ie. picnic, snacks). Guests are responsible for cleaning up all debris. Food not allowed inside animal areas. Alcohol is not permitted. WEATHER Our experiences are primarily outdoors and continue in most light weather conditions. Please come prepared for sun, dirt, uneven terrain, seasonal temperatures, and light rain. If Firefly Grove determines that weather conditions are unsafe, we’ll contact you to reschedule. Guest-requested cancellations due to weather are subject to our standard cancellation policy.
